St. Barnabas currently offers Sunday School classes for children in pre-school through grade 6. Living the Good News, a Bible-based curriculum which follows the Episcopal Lectionary throughout the year, gives our children a solid foundation in our Christian faith. This program affords children the opportunity for self expression through Bible verse interpretation based on their life experiences. These lessons, together with crafts, music and interactive play, are all designed to enhance our children’s spiritual growth. As children grow, Living the Good News continues its curriculum through grade 12.
Sunday School classes begin at 9:45 each Sunday morning, September through May. We try to complete our lessons in time for children to join their families for worship in the sanctuary for Holy Communion. Our children are a welcomed addition to the Service!
