Under the direction of Herb Parkes, the choir sings every Sunday for the 10:00 a.m. service and for all seasonal services (Christmas, Easter, and Holy Week Services). The choir leads the congregation in the singing of hymns and musical portions of the liturgy. An offertory anthem is sung at every service.
Repertoire is chosen from both traditional and contemporary sources, with an emphasis on Anglican Church music. Selections for this season include music from Handel’s Messiah and Vivaldi’s Gloria.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:15 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Sunday warm-up is at 9:15 a.m. in the choir room.
